Reno Whitewater Park located on the Truckee River

Gary Lacy designed park-that opened in 2004. The river splits into two at the start of the park providing a unique experience with each channel. One channel is designed for slalom gates and has several quick tight turns as the features force the river to pick up speed. The other channel is wider and the features provide excellent surfing waves.
Reno River Festival - A terrific event as Reno pulls out all the stops to make this a huge event. It is well worth the travel to attend this event.
