Denver Oyster urban adventure race is held at REI flagship store in downtown Denver Oyster urban adventure race covers 40 -50 miles.Comprised of 8 legs, racers travel out and back to REI using various means of transportation - running, biking, rollerblading etc.

The spectator friendly format is a bit like a scavenger hunt crossed with the Amazing Race and highly recommended.
Denver Oyster race benefits Special Olympics - raising tens of thousands of dollars for this charity. Team RipBoard has a riverboarding fundraiser for Special Olympics at Clear Creek Whitewater Park in Golden, CO each year.
