Primal Quest - whitewater swimming

RipBoard designed a new riverboard specifically for adventure racing, the Racer. We kept the same body hugging shape for maximum protection and comfort but cut the weight of the board by a third. The Racer is the best riverboard for adventure racing bar none
We tested the Racer ourselves in several adventure races and with the addition
of hand paddles - we could accelerate in flat water and/or alternate
between swimming with your arms and kicking with your feet - a definite advantage.

RipBoard also developed a backpack strap for carrying the board in case of
portage. The backpack strap easily folds into a small pouch that fits around your waist when riding the board. Don't take our word for it ask the many adventure racers who use our product in races like the 2006 Primal Quest and the Untamed Virginia AR.

Call 1.866.311.2627A number of adventure racing teams including Strike Anywhere, Climb for a Cause, Team Mandatory Gear, Adventure Racing Concepts, and others used the Racer model in the 2006 Eco Primal Quest Moab Adventure Race. The teams loved the boards and several wished the race included a longer - more extreme whitewater swimming section. I expect those looking for more whitewater will not be disappointed riding a Racer RipBoard in this year's Untamed Virginia and Primal Quest races.
