Eleven
years ago, we stumbled across an extreme sport in Queenstown, New Zealand called
sledging. After talking it over, we ditched the world famous jet boat ride on
the the shotover river in Skipper Canyon for a sledging adventure with an outfitter
called Frogz have more fun.
Rodger and his crew led us down the Class IV rapids of the Kawarau river finishing
with the infamous Chinese Dogleg rapid. We liked it so much we hiked back up the
Gorge just to run Chinese Dogleg a second time. We were hooked! So grab RipBoard's

Riverboarding takes
off

blocks west of 10th and Washington.). A lesson begins with a thorough dryland
introduction. Practice and technique development follow in a carefully selected
calm stretch of water prior to an adventure filled ride through ten Class II rapids.
