Gauley Fest - Biggest whitewater fest

Summersville, WV is home to the largest whitewater festival in the country - the actual festival starts Saturday night Sep 18 (5pm - midnight) with a ton of deals, freebies etc. The event is sponsored by American Whitewater and people can camp at the fairgrounds in Summersville all weekend long (Fri. September 17 - Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010.will be camping there all weekend long. RipBoard is making plans to be there as we've only missed one in the last 10 years. A group of boarders have always met and run the Lower Gauley, on Friday and/or Saturday of Gauley Fest weekend.
